Bram Ellens / Tonke Dragt · Royal Concertgebouw
Visual artist Bram Ellens works with robots. For his musical theatre production based on the book 'Robot van de Rommelmarkt' by Tonke Dragt, he asked me to create the sound design and voice the character of 'bob' — the Kuka KR10 robot in the lead role.
The production combines live music, visuals and robot engineering, and was performed at the Royal Concertgebouw. At its core: where does humanity reside in something that is not made of flesh and blood?
