Mr Luca

Mr. Luca is a large jazz collective, almost all of them fathers, making jazz music for children and their parents. The songs are playful, sometimes wistful, always swinging, and each release comes with an illustrated book. They have performed at, among other venues, the Bimhuis in Amsterdam.

I recorded and mixed four albums: Quality Cuts, Waarom? Daarom!, Vreemde Eenden and Jazz Op Recept. The recordings were made at Wisseloord in Hilversum and at Wedgeview Studios in Woerdense Verlaat. For 'Onder Mijn Bed' on Waarom? Daarom! I created the sound design for the barbershop scene.
